The signal of various devices such as the signal of the shoulder type and the handy type camera recorder is transmitted by the optical fiber cable. A single optical fiber cable enables long-distance transmission of camera video signals, microphone audio, AES/EBU, return signals, tally signals, intercams, camera remote controls, genlock signals, and LANs required for system cameras (studios).
